DVD player

Hi there,
I'm looking for a DVD player for Ubuntu platform. Obviously I'd like to have the best one. Suggestions?

mplayer plays my dvds with no issues. it also plays just about any other media I throw at it.

I'm not an ubuntu user but I've found xine and vlc to be the best players around. It'll play dvds and most files types. I haven't found mplayer or totem (the default media player with ubuntu I think) to be as good but I suspect that I might have been missing libraries to support them properly.

I use both Xine and Mplayer. Xine is better (with my Suse 10 set-up) though as mplayer occasionally gets confused with DVD menus. Try both.
