See title. It will play a bit of the movie, and then exit, giving some unknown audio buffer error. All the video programs quit at the same time in every movie. It will play for about 10 minutes, then die... Xine, Ogle, and Mplayer.

I've tried flashing the BIOS. No luck. The only thing I can think of is that my DVD drive is running through like 3 symlinks. Can anyone help me shrink that down?

Which program? It gives a slightly different, yet similiar error to each program....
Also, I found that *sometimes* when I boot up, the DVD drive will play the movie perfectly... other times will only play a portion of it.... and sometimes not play at all....
Now normally, I would assume a crappy DVD drive... but it works perfectly in Windows... everytime.
As far as info goes:
Gnome 2.4
Players used: xine, mplayer, ogle
Kernel: 2.4.20-gaming-r3
Processor: AMD 1400 Athalon
Memory: 256 Mb 333Mhz DDR
Drive: 16x DVD-ROM
