I have a PC with two IDE drives. I installed W2K Srv on the first hard drive (primary) and then I installed RH 7.2 on the second hard drive (slave) selecting to install the boot record into the first partition of the drive that is booting Linux (hdb3 - I have the swap and boot sectors as hdb1 and hdb2).

I copied the bootsect.lnx file to a floppy and then to my C: drive within W2K and edited the boot.ini file.

However, when I select RedHat from W2K's boot menu, I get a blank screen with a flashing cursor.

Any ideas as to what I might have done wrong or what I can do to fix this problem? I would greatly appreciate any help.

Can u post ur boot.ini and lilo.con files ??

I am using Grub in RH. I will post both tonight. The boot.ini is simple and straight forward, but I'll post both in case I am overlooking something.
