Dual booting with a SATA and an IDE

I am trying to dual boot windows xp and fedora 3 using the GRUB boot loader. Linux is on an IDE HDD while windows is on a Serial ATA. I have mounted my XP drive in linux with no problems. I was just wondering if anyone knows how a SATA HDD is represented in GRUB? I've tried SD1,0 and some other variations with no success.

Grub doesn’t care whether it’s a PATA or SATA drive.

The first BIOS drive is (hd0) and the second BIOS drive is (hd1). Usually, the drive on the IDE channel is the first BIOS drive, but you can often change the order by editing the BIOS hard drive boot order.

You will probably need to use the grub map command to get windows to boot, or just let the BIOS hard drive boot order determine which OS boots.
