Debian Woody graphic desktop problem ..


hai everyone ..
i just installed Debian ..
but it gives me text interface ..
i tried 2 get the graphic interface , but didnt work out ..
i think there a command i should type , but i dont know what it s..
thanx 4 help

You can use the command startx to see the graphical interface but you"ll probably want to install one of the display managers to get a graphical login screen on boot. You have the choice of the following :

xdm : the classic X display manager
kdm : the KDE display manager
gdm : the GNOME display manager

Just install one of these with the command

apt-get install kdm (for example)
