CVS trouble - not sure whats wrong

Alright I was trying to get 'mozilla/client.mk' at http://www.mozilla.org/cvs.html, following the Unix method. However when I did the process (I think I did it right, im new to CVS), i got this:

dncwithmatt@linux:~> CVSROOT=server:anonymous@cvs-mirror.mozilla.org:/cvsroot
dncwithmatt@linux:~> cvs login
Logging in to server:anonymous@cvs-mirror.mozilla.org:2401/cvsroot
CVS password:
dncwithmatt@linux:~> cvs checkout mozilla/client.mk
dncwithmatt@linux:~> mozilla/client.mk
bash: mozilla/client.mk: Permission denied
dncwithmatt@linux:~>

What did I do wrong? I logged in and everything. Someone please help, I'm trying to get Nvu installed and I need to do this first.

What are the permissions on mozilla/client.mk? Do a ls -l mozilla/client.mk to see them. You may need to do a chmod 755 mozilla/client.mk.

Instead of
Quote:
CVSROOT=server:anonymous@cvs-mirror.mozila.org:/cvsroot
you might try
Quote:
export CVSROOT=server:anonymous@cvs-mirror.mozilla.org:/cvsroot
