CUPS server/client

I've installed SuSE 10.0 on both my desktop and my notebook, I also have an HP710C parallel printer connected to my desktop.

I have a working intranet and can connect all my computers...

I want to share my printer using cups and be able to use it in my notebook. How can I achieve this?

Thanks,
Bruno

If the clients are Windows machines, you need to install and configure Samba to share your printer.

If they're all linux clients, I believe you should be able to just print to the server from CUPS on each machine by using an LPD/LPR printer and the address bing lpd://hostname/queuename.
