CUPS problem

Hi

I've a network at work and all computers share a printer using CUPS on the main server. (All computers wun linux)

Everything work fine but i've got a little problem. It seems that if the printer has been NOT used for long enough it goes to sleep and when one of the work stations wans to print it will not print until i restart the server or the printer. This is a pain in the neck

Does anybody know what the problem might be.

Thanks

Any help would be good.

If it's the printer at fault, you may have to ask the manufacturer for help, or even get a different printer.
You could look at the cups documentation for some way to keep it alive.
