Well, i got on this computer here, a Canon i550 installed on an USB port.... well, i used CUPS to install it... (you know with http://localhost:631)
With the computer here the printer wirks fine... no problem...

But how do i tell an other computer in the network where the printer is at?
At this other computer i an go to localhost:631 to... but from there i don't know you to tell where the printer is at... :S Does anybody know you to install that?

btw.... the printer here is connected at: usb://Canon/i550

Thanks in advance

Hmm, I thought of that..... but doesn't he then think the printer is connected to his USB? instead of the computer where the printer is really connected to?

E.P.: define; he, other pc or user? pc would not care just so that communication is clear between pc,s; user then problem would arise between pc,s and user,s? so only location concern,s pc,s.

If the networked computer wants to print you need to
point it at the IP of the computer that actually has the
printer like this:

socket://<ip or hostname>

Cheers,
