Cups network printer and OpenOffice

How do I configure OpenOffice to use a networked printer that is already configured in Cups? I searched but didn't find anything that pertains to my specific problem.

I got that far to spadmin as root but have no idea from there. lpd://192.168.1.101? Where do I enter the .ppd? BTW, jetblackz, I fixed my CDBakeOven problem by running chmod a+s on cdrecord, mkisofs,cdda2wav, and couple of other cd burning tools. Now I can just select mp3s or oggs, click burn and watch as they're decompressed and burned. Sweet.

Congrats! I didn't want to "spoil the fun" while you were fixing CDBakeOven.

Well after being RTFMed I the only thing I found was this
"A little research showed that OpenOffice wants a ppd file. I found
compressed ppd files for my printer under
/usr/share/cups/model/foomatic/Epson.=20

I created a new directory under the shared openoffice.org installation
folder, I copied the compressed ppd file
"Epson-Stylus_Color_880-gimp-print-cups.ppd.gz" there, then used gzip -d
Epson-Stylus_Color_880-gimp-print-cups.ppd.gz I was then able to import
the new printer driver. I now can get photo quality output from
OpenOffice."

Question. Where is the shared openoffice.org directory? Before anyone calls me an idiot and to search for it myself, bear in mind I am helping a local lawyer convert his entire office to opensource. I fought a long battle w/ Minolta over Linux drivers for his monster laser copier/printer/scanner. So I'm trying to get some explicit directions so I don't waste a 150 mile round trip to his office just fiddle around.

I don't use CUPS.

/usr/local/openoffice/share should give you an idea.
