cups How do I output the page numbers when printing?

The wrong English.

Please note.

I am printing txt file to the lp command.

I want to get to the page numbers at the bottom of the page when printing multiple pages.

"-o prettyprinter" option will not want to use.

What happens if I do?

The correct option is prettyprint and it prints a header that contains the filename, time and page number at the top of the page. Another option to consider is using enscript.
