Crossover Office in Ubuntu Hoary
Hello everyone,
My wife's PC is currently running Ubuntu Hoary. I recently upgraded to Hoary from Warty. In Warty, Crossover Office was running fine to allow my wife to run for instance her Photoshop in Linux. Since upgrading to Hoary, things have gone completely wrong with Crossover Office. I've tried several things, including completely removing all CXOffice traces from the HD and installing a clean install.
It keeps coming up with the same error:
[link to image removed because I am not allowed to post url's yet... ask if you want the url to the screenshot of the error ... it's a wine error]
Of course, it's too long since I bought the cxoffice license to still get support from them and paying $59 to renew my support because of one problem is a bit much. So I'm hoping someone here can help me with this problem.
You can get the log that cxoffice writes to /tmp if you want, again I can't post a url yet so let me know. In case that might help trace where this problem comes from.
The error itself made me think of a wrong wine version in Hoary, but then I also considered the fact that cxoffice should install it's own Wine IIRC.
Does anyone have any idea what might cause this problem, and how to solve it? Downgrading back to Warty is something I only want to do if nothing else can be done.
