creating a VCD under linux

i would like to ceate a VCD out of a avi file in linux , anyone know how to do it??

i'm using RHEL WS 4.0

You might be able to use avidemux (and other tools). Here's a tutorial - ignore the misleading title!

I would suggest on using tovid suite

I use it for avi to DVD/VCD conversion.
It works very well for me
