VCD Menus, creating them

Hi, I have a bunch of Mpeg's that are VCD ready. I can burn them using vcdimager and cdrdao, but what I'd like to do is create an interactive menu for them. Has anybody found any software that can do this? The only thing I've found is Nero, but windows sucks,....

vcdxmlgen : XML vcdimager generator

Hi All,

I wrote a perl script who take as input a simple configuration file such as something like that :

Code:
# ------------------------------------------------------
# CLASS definition : CLASS type version
# ------------------------------------------------------
CLASS svcd 1.0

# ------------------------------------------------------
# INFO definition : INFO album_id [vol_count vol_current]
# ------------------------------------------------------
INFO famille

# ------------------------------------------------------
# PVD definition : PVD disc_id publisher_id
# ------------------------------------------------------
PVD PAL_svcd_album David Guillerm Album de famille

# ------------------------------------------------------
# MENU description : MEN movie name [loop wait movie_on]
# STILL description : STILL movie name [1 wait movie_on]
# ------------------------------------------------------
STILL images/still-image.jpg.mpg mon_menu 3 30 seq1

# ------------------------------------------------------
# SEQ description : SEQ movie name next prev wait
# ------------------------------------------------------
SEQ sets-mp2/bannalec2004.08.01_15-22-08.tovid.mpg seq1 N P 0
SEQ sets-mp2/anniv3ans2004.04.07_15-11-02.mpg seq2 N P 0
SEQ sets-mp2/noel20042004.11.28_14-00-32.mpg seq3 seq1 P 0
And after it generates a XML file compliant to vcd imager. It could helps to write the XML file

You can checkout the following pag to get the program : http://roozeec.over-blog.com/article-351030.html

For the moment , no documentation available, the script has only one day old.... But feedback would be appreciated

Note : I'm french, so you can use web translator if you want

Regards

Roozeec
