"Could not find mediatype" error with rhythmbox

I just installed rhythmbox and like the interface a lot, but I'm having trouble playing some of my mp3s. I get the error message "Could not find media type" for about 20% of my files. They all work in xmms and totem. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Installing the latest version of gstreamer seemed to fix my problem.
