convert a set of 32x32 pixel png's into a font

Hi!

I'm trying to create a font (really, a rather odd font, mostly for decoration, so not traditional letters) to use in KDE (truetype, I assume, but I really don't know much about fonts).

What I've got is a set of 32x32 pixel .png files that contain black-on-white outlines of the fonts.

Is there some program out there to convert these png's into a .ttf or other font format?

Thanks!!

Never used it myself, but fontforge might be worth a look. Even it won't import PNG directly there are plenty of utilities around to convert PNG to other image formats.
