Control Alt Delete Restarts Computer, how to fix?

Anyone have any idea how to stop control alt delete from restarting my computer in gentoo linux? this is a security risk for me and would like it fixed as soon as possible. I've only found an option that involves re-compliling the kernel. Any help would be appreciated.

In /etc/inittab there should be a line like the following:
# Trap CTRL-ALT-DELETE
ca::ctrlaltdel:/sbin/shutdown -a -t3 -h now
(Note - I have altered mine to halt)

I think if you just comment out the line starting with ca:: it should disable this feature.
