F2 Kernel restarts computer during installation

I'm currently running Windows XP and I am attempting to install Fedora core 2. My computer boots fine off of the CD but regardless of which options I choose it loads vmlinuz and initrid.img before flashing "Uncompressing linux ... OK, booting the kernel." It then restarts my computer. I have verified the ISOs and burnt them multiple times with different options in Nero. I have also burnt the boot.iso image to CD and extracted the ISO to my HD but it still restarts. I have tried the text and noprobe options but it still restarts. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
