Connecting to Wireless Network

I'm using Motorola WPCI810G, the router I'm connecting to is compatable with it (worked before...). How the bloody hell do I get this thing working? If you can help me I'd gladly accept it. I'm online on my IM's.

EDIT: Just noticed that I posted this in the wrong forum. Sorry.

do you have wireless tools installed.

what error messages are you getting.

you need to make sure your firewall is off while testing (but don't be connected to the net yet).

usually dhcp needs to be on in both the router and your pc.

OK I got the driver installed... I think.

zephryos@Dragon:~$ iwconfig wlan0

wlan0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:off/any
Mode:Managed Frequency:2.462 GHz Access Point: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Bit Rate:54 Mb/s Tx-Power:25 dBm

Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:9 Invalid misc:1190196 Missed beacon:0

And when I go to KWifiManager, I click scan for networks and it finds the wireless network. But why won't it connect?

I also did this to make sure it was really there -.-

zephryos@Dragon:~$ iwlist wlan0 scan
wlan0 Scan completed :
