Compiling xmms issues

When compiling xmms for suse 10.0 pro, I encounter the following error;
Code:

I would use the suse package for it, but I get the following error when running xmms. My idea was to compile from source and avoid this error.

Code:
/usr/lib/xmms/General/libir.so: undefined symbol: irapp_thread
Any ideas on how to solve either problem would get my xmms working. Thanx in advance!
If someone could explain another thing, I have packman in my installation directory, and there are a few xmms packages - xmms-lib, xmms-lib-mad, and xmms. What are the differences?

nice nice - installed the said packages and it's all good. I still get the libir.so: undefined symbol: irapp_thread error, but otherwise the xmms is working well. Thanx!
