Command Line / Simple UI Testing Software


I have read "Login script and How to automate test cases" and references in that thread.

I would appreciate any thoughts or links to a tool, open source or proprietary, that would allow me to automate testing of a forms-based GUI (Informix forms). Edit: --> I believe I need something more robust than Expect.

You can try xreplay. I'm using it everyday for automating tasks that rely on GUI-only softwares. It's awfull but it works..
