coLinux not detecting tap?

I know this may seem weird but yes I am still using coLinux in 2016. But I have a problem, in windows 10 32-bit, When I run coLinux (which works quite well) It doesn't seem to work with the tap driver. Getting this error: colinux-net-daemon: auto selecting TAP
colinux-net-daemon: error opening registry key: SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control
\Network\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control
\Network\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\{016A6C21-3C79-4285-AEC2-A08BB7B
B0215}\Connecticolinux-net-daemon: TAP device not found

So the TAP doesn't work. Please help. Btw colinux works quite fast in Win 10, just can't get TAP to work.

You probably already tried the suggestions for fixing the tap driver under Windows 10? eg https://www.privateinternetaccess.co...on-this-system

I'm guessing that eventually a new improved tap driver will be available. Since colinux (last time I ran it, a few years ago) was independent of the tap driver, it seems most likely that the problem is the tap driver + Windows 10, and not coLinux at all.

So I haven't resolved this at all but there instead, I used the Microsoft Loopback adapter instead. There will be a setup guide on my blog soon.
