Chkconfig


How do I do this (RPM based):

chkconfig is a tool to simplify management of the symbolic links in /etc/rc.d under Linux

#chkconfig --add vtigercrm510-RC
in Ubuntu ?

Hello,

Ubuntu is not RPM based and as such different in many ways, including chkconfig and how to program startup scripts. Ubuntu uses the update-rc.d command to generate the links.

Have a look at the man page:
