Change the logout file.

hello everybody.
does anybody know how change the file which run when the user log out?

the currently file is: "~/.bash_logout" but i want change to another.

I have looked the environment variables and i've found the "HISTFILE=~/.bash_history", so, i imagine that there is something to specify the logout file.

does anybody know?

Code:
$ strings /bin/bash |grep bash_logout
bash_logout
~/.bash_logout
/etc/bash.bash_logout
Looks hard-coded to me, so your only option is to re-build bash. The only reason I could think of for wanting to change it is for making mischief. Why do you want to do it?

I always put mine in ~/.bash_logout or login and it works fine. I think it is the last file read as far as configs go. You may can edit /etc/profile but it should work with the other.
