Celestia ERROR: .....

I just installed celestia via YAST and when I try and run it, I get this error:

Code:
Unable to resolve GL/GLX symbols - please check your GL library installation.
celestia: ERROR: Communication problem with celestia, it probably crashed.
linux:~ #
Why is it doing this? How can I fix it?

Regards,
Michael

Do you have an ATI graphics adapter and the fglrx-driver installed? If yes you have to establish a xsession with the radeon driver. With this celestia should work.
