cedega and linux 2.6.8.1-mm4...

Hey!

I have a problem with cedega 4.2 under my 2.6.8.1-mm4 kernel:
Everytime I try to start Steam or a game like Battlefield, the system crashes. I don't know if there is an error message or kernel panic because X11 is, of course, still opened after the systemcrash.
Well, has anyone of you the same problem with cedega, or is there something like a patch to fix this?

Well, I don't think cedega supports -mm kernels. Upgrade to a kernel supported by your version of cedega and then ask for support from the company.

OK, I think I'll try a vanilla or gentoo-dev kernel.
Hmpf, but small apps, like WinRAR, seem tu run quit well with my mm-kernel.

EDIT: Changed vanill into vanilla
