Ive used k3b forever but im looking for something that can do everything k3b does but doesnt use any k3b libraries. im trying to keep anything involving k3b off of my system.

you can try gcdmaster(not sure of the name, uses GTK) or xcdroast(have to convert mp3 to wav before for audio cds)

If you are using GNOME or XFCE, then take a look at gnomefiles.org. Personally I have not yet seen one thats as good as k3b.

yeah k3b is the most graphical user friendly for burning cds under linux dude (that i have used) I now use cdrecord heheh from the command line, it's easy once you get the hang of it.

I didn't know Nero had a linux version, dang! times fly when one is running linux hehehehehe how good is it dude, do u actually use it? anand78
