I keep getting a "cant get lock mailbox in use" error, I tried restarting the mail server and this error has been happening for 3 days, how do I get rid of it.

Thanks

Can you check if there is no .username or username.lock or some other file like this in your mail spool directory (ex. /var/spool/mail or /var/mail)

When your mailbox is not in use there shoud be only 1 file for each user containing the mail for this user. If you find other files (like the files above) remove them. Or better, move them to somewhere else and try agian. If it works afther this, you can remove them. If it doesn't work, just move them back.
