cannot upgrade to suse 11.3 after following d/l instructions. using 11.2 suse now.

Never had success in past on upgrading .. followed instr. for d/l suse 11.3 (have 11.2 now), also tried upgrade firefox 3.6.6 tar.bz2 which is apparently "ark" . tried following instructions but failed in both instances. thanks in advance

Hello,
My advice to you is save your data on a USB-harddrive and then make a clean installation of OpenSuSe 11.3. But remember to burn out a copy of 11.3 first

A tip. Save first all of your data as PDF, ODF-documents and so forward. Then save your bookmarks by going to "handling bookmarks" in the Firefox menu. Saving here means exporting the bookmarks as a HTML-file.
