For Noobs...instructions for installing Apollon on SuSE 9.1 Pro...

As a damned noob myself, I had a hell of a time installing Apollon. It's funny...after you finally get it running, you feel like such an idiot because of how simple it really is. Here we go...

I used to find "Apollon-0.8.3-1i386.rpm" (i had trouble with this since there are no listed entries for SuSE specifically...had to just choose one for Mandrake and then look for a link "other distributions"...still didn't find SuSE, but saw a link for a "all other distribs" version)...

So just download that, then search rpm.pbone for and do the same thing (ie other distributions link...still none for SuSE 9.1)...Then do the same with

Then, using YaST install apollon.

Hope this helps...this forum has helped me with so many things...just want to give a little back
