Cannot get fglrx working??

Hi,

I recently installed Debian woody 3.0, and after some struggle I finally got my network
and xserver to work. Now I can't get my fglrx to work for my ATI Radeon 9600 driver. I
went into /lib/modules/fglrx/build_mod, and ran my make.sh. That work ok, then I went
to lib/modules/fglrx, and ran my make_install.sh. Then I ran into this error,

depmod: *** unresolved symbols in lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4/kernel/drivers/char/drm/fglrx.o
failed.

Anybody encounter similar problems? I just recently upgraded to xfree86 4.3 on
Debian stable.
