a custom built image could be built
but .....
BT5 is not supported , so i would not even try .
but HPBaxxter if you RAELLY want to try
use the current Operating system for professional !! system penetration / security testing
Kali 1.0.5
there is a live image
and you can strip out everything that makes it "Kali"
remove the Ubuntu parts
and have Debian6
then strip out the not needed
and you have left
a min. Debian install
--- that is a lot of work
just use debain minimal install
or
a custom Slackware build
Me i am in the red hat family
so a live cd of CentOS6.4
but
it might not really support that hardware
Backtrack is deprecated, use Kali instead. That will nonetheless not help to run x86 software on ARM CPUs, you will need a different computer for that.
ALL of the added "extra" software is already in most distros repos , or can be built from source.
there are some custom metasploit "stuff" ( i will leave it at "stuff")
but I AM NOT going to tell someone who dose not already know how to use( and install ) the software how to set it up
i might have "gone to the 'darkside' with suse ( the MS deal not a black hat )" but this is NOT the place for system cracking
black hat ( and white hat also) is a PROHIBITED SUBJECT .
I would like to know how they do it. In that tutorial they use the Linux Installer from ZPwebsites. From the website of that program:
Quote:
Once you have the distro up and running then you can pretty much run and install any linux software you like (so long as there is a arm port or it is not architecturaly depenedent)
But there is no ARM port of Backtrack and most of the tools are not written in script languages.
