Angry Can't update, upgrade or install packages on any Linux OS

I’ve got a stalker and hacker, hellbent on rendering all of my devices inoperable and doing a pretty good job, which is no wonder, considering the fact that he works as a MP in the CID Computer Crimes Unit, according to recent evidence and a supporting statement from his brother. On a positive note, it has inspired me to get into the cyber security field but none of my devices work correctly and only a few even turn on without going into a bootloop or immediately seizing up with a blue screen of death.

I switched to Linux and that worked for a while until every distro ceased to update of upgrade with sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade or dist-upgrade, even if I force it or fix it, etc. I am also unable to install ANY packages. This is occuring on parrot, Ubuntu, Kali, arch Linux, centOS and variations of those and even others. My example, of course, is for debian systems but, the same happens with the others, using the appropriate commands.

It is happening when I try to update from the GUI, when available, as well. 0 packages are updated and I am informed that it is unsafe to upgrade. This occurs on desktop, laptop and raspberry pi alike. I am at a loss, as a Linux noob. There must be a solution. I will even attempt some fancy kernel-level fix, if you have one. I will try anything, even if it takes all week. I need at least one working linux device. Can someone please give me SOME idea of what I might try, in order to remedy this system-crippling issue? I often turn to my Linux+ study guide but, sadly, this seems to be above even CompTIA's paygrade. Please help, Linux power-users!!!!

Wow, this sounds familiar:
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...em-4175625988/
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...lp-4175627482/
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...ss-4175626085/
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...nk-4175624013/

Coincidentally, they were in England too. Nothing you're saying here makes any sense, at all. Now it's an "MP in the Cyber crimes unit", which gives them **EXACTLY NOTHING** in the ways/means of getting into 'all your devices'. You're saying that EVERY VERSION AND DISTRO of Linux is immediately broken, as well as Windows?? And you're saying that when the system updater is run and it tells you there's no updates that it doesn't update?? Yep..sounds right to me. What do you THINK it'll do if there are no updates to apply? Or do you somehow think that this mysterious 'they' has hacked every single website just to get to you??

Sorry...nothing you're saying makes sense, and it's highly likely you also have zero proof of this as well, right? Please, don't blame it on being a 'Linux noob', since you could easily load Windows (which you're NOT a 'noob' with, right?), and find such evidence. I don't think that anyone, on any forum is going to be able to help you with your real issues.

Well the hacker thing had enough evidence to be litigiously resolved. I am just dealing with the fallout now. I just can't afford to buy all new machines to replace the ones he ruined

OP: no self respecting hacker cares about you or any other individual for that matter. I have seen this type of post before, as TB0ne has graciously pointed out.

So you are admitting you're the Danwilliams1989 user from before? Why create a new account??? And again, nothing you posted previously or here, makes ANY SENSE AT ALL. Sorry, it just doesn't. From a technical perspective, it just isn't possible. You're posting things that are the equivalent of saying "My neighbor is an electrical engineer, and whenever I put something in my microwave, it comes out as chicken!".....no, sorry. Not possible.

Please, don't waste our time with such things.

Believe me, before everything came out in court, I often wondered if I was as crazy as the rest of them. Incidentally, I now feel kind of bad for always assuming they were all crazy. I'm sure a chunk of the people i thought were crazy were actually harrassed, granted, most not by someone in the military computer crimes division. I will copy and paste here shortly. The internet isn't working at my house right now so I'm gonna go set up my new wifi pineapple in just a bit, to use my phone data.

Funny how you couldn't post this 'proof' RIGHT NOW, as you were typing...with a keyboard/mouse, allowing you to copy/paste easily. No, I'm sure it's going to be 'later'....and I'm also sure that your 'hacker' will SOMEHOW PREVENT IT.

Post reported.

No. I never said I was those users. I'll check out those threads though, assuming you probably posted threads with a solution in them. Thanks. Don't be a troll though.

How about I post my question without attributing a presumed source of my problem? I guess that's a better idea, given the forum climate these days

Bolded a part for emphasis only. You posted "Well the hacker thing had enough evidence to be litigiously resolved. I am just dealing with the fallout now. I just can't afford to buy all new machines to replace the ones he ruined"

...which certainly reads as if you're saying you are.

No, there is no 'solution' on a technical forum for your issues. The only one trolling here is you...again, you have zero proof, and not a single thing you've said makes any sense, at all, in any way.

Seek help. Good luck.

If you have an actual question (i.e. specific error messages we can help troubleshoot) we would be happy to assist you.

That has nothing to do with the forum climate, but everything to do with not providing technical details about a specific issue. Please post specific technical problems with one Linux machine so that someone may help you with your issue.

Interesting. Apparently this is a 2 year old issue...

Not sure the 2 OPs are related but the posts are oddly similar.

Even same ports/services/devices mentioned.
