Angry Can't read files on DVD on Linux box

I am trying to read files on a DVD on my Linux box. When I read the DVD on my WIndows 2000 box it shows a folder with 10 sub folders in it. When I read the same DVD on my Linux 8.0 box it onlyu reads 2 of the 10 folders, it can't see the other ones.

Any idea of what is going on? The attributes are the same on all folders when they were burned.

I need to be able to test this DVD on a Linux box, any help would be appreciated....

Thanks....TE

Did the other folders start with a '.' (period) perchance? If so, that makes the file default invisible to a ls, try doing

$ ls -al

And see if they show up.
