Can't install scenery in FlightGear

I am running FG 9.10 on Linux.

I download the scenery files from http://www.flightgear.org/Downloads/scenery-0.9.10.html to my Desktop. I move the files *.tgz to /usr/share/games/FlightGear/data/Scenery and then issue the following:

tar -zxvf w080n40.tgz

I get:

tar: w080n40.tgz: Not found in archive
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

What gives? Anyone?

check the file size, and also try another grid and see if that works.

BTW, I was trying to install scenery in TinyMe (pclinuxos). I have two harddrives on my computer--one running TinyMe and the other running Sabayon. I tried other grids to no avail. Also, I didn't check the size of the file but I tried to download scenery in Sabayon and it worked perfectly. So, I don't know what gives, but it works in Sabayon.
