I was trying to apply updates on a Fedora 6 machine when after resolving dependencies, I received the following message:
Code:
Public key for cups-libs-1.2.12-1.fc6.i386.rpm is not installed
Cups has to do with printing, does it not? Why would I have to install public keys for a library file for printing and if I have to install them, where do I get the public keys for this?
Do this for any key on that page that applies to your system if it is the i386, for other architectures go to the appropriate web page by navigating using parent directory and keep track of the url in the browser. The link below is the same one in the import command adding one of the keys, make sure to be on the right page for your architecture which is highlighted in red. Besides the one in the example above, I would do the one with fedora and fedora.extras. http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu.../linux/core/6/i386/os
