Question Boot disk problems

Allo

I'm in the process of setting up a dual boot between Slackware 9 and Windows XP. I've partitioned the drive correctly and successfully installed slack, however , because I'm setting up a dual boot environment I need to make a boot disk instead of using the MBR option.

When I boot from the disk the default config pops onto the screen as soon as I hit enter get an error that i got a bad boot disk.

Is there any way to make a boot disk without having to go through the installation or any way I can boot into slack without the MBR and boot disk?

Thanx

Why don't you use the MBR? My pc dual boots winXP and Slackware 10 using the MBR... very handy.

Just make sure winXP is installed first then install SW and over-write the MBR. Worked for me and I'm a n00b.
