Question Boot Disk

Hello,

My friend gave me a Linux (Caldera) machine, but he forgot the password. I've herd you can make a boot disk to get around it. Can anyone tell me how to make one or another way to get on?

Thanks, Josh

Boot into single user mode (or shutdown into single user mode). You can then use passwd to change the root password (which I assume is what you are trying to do
