Bonzai Linux download??

Hi,
I know that Bonzai Linux has been discontinued, but does anyone have a link to (or actually have) the Bonzai 3.2 iso? I have tried everywhere and each time the iso is no longer there.

Please help me!
Kind Regards,
flouran

What is Bonzai about?

what's it based on?

Maybe it'll work with my portable-qemu...?

Customize Bonzai ISO?

Does anyone know any guides on how to customize the Bonzai 3.2 iso?
I know a guide on how to customize the Ubuntu live cd, but would it be work for the Bonzai iso? Perhaps customizing the Bonzai 3.2 iso is the same as customizing the Debian iso?

OK, I just put Bonzai 3.2 on portable-qemu so you can practice remastering it.

Have you installed it to hard drive?

I put it in a 500MB qemu-img with hda1=420mb, hda2=swap 80+mb
it runs pretty fast in qemu too!
so, as soon as I upload I'll drop link if you want, here

No doubt, ok, hold on I gotta upload new portable-qemu-kit with kvm
about 2mb so hold on, go smoke a blunt and come back cause I gotta write a how-to for you
which ain't easy!

You don't need to go too in-depth because I'm not a newbie.

OK, flouran
the download is 3mb, BUT it will decompress to 1GB cause it's got a
3 partition vhd in qemu folder with hda1, hda2, and hda3-swap
hda1/2 are each 450mb
Now, I included a 1gb vhd so you could install to hda1 and use hda2 to do the remaster
It's formatted ext3 with swap

But, you can throw away 1gb vhd and make your own as portable-qemu-img and portable-qemu-img.exe are on board and scripts to make vhd(must edit first)

As for installing,
there are 6 scripts in all, 3 for linux and 3 for windows

bonzai3.2_install_1.sh/.bat

bonzai3.2_install_2.sh/.bat

bonzai3.2_run.sh/.bat

It needs 3 scripts cause when installing, at some point after install_1
it will want to access cdrom to further install stuff, so that's what
install_2 is for, I just hit the X to kill qemu and started install_2(after installation).

being that your not a newbie, you can probably muddle thru
I don't write notes, etc, so if you have issues come back and I'll help.

anyway, it all runs on windows and linux including make_vhd.bat
except no kvm for windows, hah!

here's new portable-qemu link 4 bonzai!

And I require the Boon of feedback and ideas, 'cause you probably know more than me about Linux, so if you remaster, etc, I wanna know

Some pointers too, you gotta use framebuffer with qemu, best is usually 800x600 24 color
and make the kde panel "tiny" and adjust font size too.
