Simpletech Bonzai/SanDisk Cruzer compatibility

I'm interested into buying one of the forementioned USB card readers, since I frequently exchange data between my desktop and my laptop. I have no network card and as for now I use a parallel cable with plip.
I chose these two USB card readers because I have a digital camera, too, which uses SecureDigital cards.
I'd like to know if someone have one of these and how much they're compatible with Linux. I use Mandrake 9.1.
Many thanks in advance
