Blackdown + RH9

I have recently installed Blackdown 1.4.1_01 on RH 9 because I couldn't get Sun's java to work properly. But when I try to execute any of the binaries in Blackdown's package I get:

An unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the VM.

Use the gcc2.95 version.

Note that if you are using the plugin for Mozilla and java is compiled with 3.2 and Mozilla is compiled with 2.95 or vice versa java will immediately crash you browser upon loading a page with java. Yes, it's stupic, but this is Linux, so many irritating and stupid things are done in the name of "Freedom".

And Webmaster, is it really necessary to collect people's email addresses just because they want to answer someone's simple question that they happen to know the answer to?

Sorry, just in a rooten mood today, I guess...
