Best way to run DOS and Windows games from CD ISOs?

I want to build a computer for my nieces that has a bunch of old DOS and Windows based educational games. I think I want to use Wine and DOSEmu to do this.

Some of these games require the original CD to work, and/or, try to autodetect the CDROM drive. Since my nieces are young I don't want them to have to have to manage CDs. I just want them to be able to click and go.

Can this be accomplished using mounted ISOs of the CDs? How can I automount on a per-game basis?

Well, I changed the symlink for D drive under the wine directory when I want to play a game I ripped from ISO. You might have to make your own bash scripts that will remove the d symlink and then recreate it for each game.

I'm not in front of my linux box, or I'd post the path to the d drive. It was something like /home/user/.wine/drives...
