being logged out when using RM

Hi,

out sendmail has been spammed im trying to remove all the mails in /var/spool/mqueue

If i do "rm /var/spool/mqueue/*" i get disconnected from the server.

if i go to the mqueue directory and type "rm *" i get logged out of SU back to my normal user.

Any idea's as im desperate to delete these files.

Try using a file manager like konqueror or nautilus.
Or else use the --verbose option to see if it tells you why it is dumping you out.
