Bare ninimum Red Hat 4 ES install


Very New guy question....
I am looking for a list of packages required for the absolute bare minimum Red Hat 4 es install.

you can always get barer if you want to... you could go so far as to have a system that boots but does vritually nothing, which you may well call useless but others call essneital for the one single thing it does, whatever that may be.

during the rhel4 installation, there is a "minimal" installation which won't install stuff like X or other servers, but it can always be tweaked to suit your needs.
