Thumbs up Backup over network

Hello,

I'm running RH7.3 and I want to backup some directory's to a PC that is connected on the network.
The other PC is a WINXP with a HD of 160GB (so why not). The problem is that I'm not sure using what command. Can I do that with the command smbclient.

Please HELP. THX

man smbclient

It even gives an example using backup
and restore ;)

make sure you have that drive shared on the XP side!!

If not, you can try to connect to it, but there will be nothing to connect to!!

Yes this is correct I have seen that. But the problem is that the backup is of the files that are on the share. I want to make the backup from the machine RH and store on the share.

you'll find that in the operations
section ... try
man smbclient
/mput
