backup function

Im trying to use the backup function and this is what i get.

Code:
Directory /usr/etc/backup is not found.
The following directories and files are needed for the backup to function:

1. Directory with configuration files and file lists:
/usr/etc/backup
2. Directory for backup log files
/usr/etc/backup/log
3. Main configuration file
/usr/etc/backup/backup-specs

Please, create these and invoke the script again.
What does it mean create them and if i do what do i put in them?Or do i have to install them?

This "backup" function is not a function, it's a script that likely is specific to your distribution since, as a Slackware/SlamD64 user, I've never heard of it. You should check the man pages or other documentation that came with your distribution about it.
