azureus problems

Hi
I've got Debian Etch. Whenever I start azureus I got the following error:

Quote:
The following components need an update:

Core Azureus Version
It's then downloading

Azureus 2.5.0.4.jar

But when I restart azureus the same thing happens. I guess I need
to install that jar file, but how?

The other error that I get is:

Quote:
UPnP: Mapping 'Incoming Peer Data Port (UDP/nr_of_the port)' failed
I followed the instructions and (I believe) I forwarded relevant ports on the router (both TCP and UDP)

Thanks for any help

To install the jar file

java -jar something.jar

When you did the ports in your router did you do them in your firewall?

Thanks for your answer,

I didn't have any firewall (at least that's what I think), yesterday
I installed firestarter but I've just stopped it.

As to the jar file:
Quote:
debian:/home/sycamorex/.azureus/updates/inst_1# java -jar Azureus2_2.5.0.4.jar
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.gudy.azureus2.ui.common.Main

at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(libgcj.so.70)
at java.lang.Class.forName(libgcj.so.70)
at java.lang.Class.initializeClass(libgcj.so.70)
that's what I get

Check out rtorrent which is a command line bittorrent client. Use that with screen and there'll be no need to ever run Azureus again. rtorrent is very lightweight (everything is compared to Azureus) and seems to be a bit faster downloading.
