avview -> volume not supported


after running avview for a couple of days i get no audio output and it gives me a "volume not supported" message. i tryed everything the only thing that seems to temperarly fix it is to reinstall the Xfree86 packages.


im running a ATI all in wonder rage 128 with gatos drivers.
