Arrow apache setting for php


hello,

i have a software that generates html pages by default. i am adding few lines of php script to it. now as these file have .html extension php script can not be executed.
problem: - is there any setting in apache server that would enable me to consider .html files as .php files and execute

-any ideas are wellcome

Yes there is a setting in your /path/to/apache/conf/httpd.conf:

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html

This will tell Apache to parse certain extensions as PHP. You could have any extensions parse as PHP by simply adding more, with each separated by a space.
