apache php problem


I'm having problems getting my localhost to parse php files I just get prompted to save them -
here's my httpd.conf http://pastebin.com/704345

apache1.3
php4
php4-mysql

all installed cleanly via apt-get

any help appreciated

Make sure the line below is in your httpd.conf
Code:
LoadModule php4_module libexec/libphp4.so
Take a look here for installation instructions that may help you further.

thanks for the help, seems for some reason I just had to uncomment the mysql module in php.ini and now everything miraculously works
